Privacy, explained simply
The short version: we collect nothing about what you do, because we built the site so that we cannot. Here is exactly what that means, once in kid language and once in grown-up language.
At a glance
What we collect: nothing you generate
- Your numbers, dice, coins and results
Created on your device. Never sent to us.
- Names and lists you type into the picker
Stay in the page. Forgotten when you close the tab.
- Accounts, emails, passwords
None exist.
- Cookies
None. Not even “necessary” ones.
- Local storage, session storage, IndexedDB
Not used. We save nothing in your browser.
- Analytics, ads, trackers, fingerprinting
None at the moment of writing.
- Third-party fonts, scripts, images
None. Everything is served from our own domain.
Do not just read it: generate something on any tool and watch the meter.
Nothing you generate is sent anywhere. How we know
For a 6-year-old
Your numbers stay in your backpack
-
Your numbers are born on your device
It is like rolling a die at your own table. Nobody across the room can see it.
-
No sign in
Like a slide at the playground. You do not need a ticket or to tell anyone your name. You just slide.
-
No password
You cannot lose the key to a door that does not exist. Nothing to forget, nothing to steal.
-
No database
We do not have a notebook where we write down what you did. We are like a water fountain: it does not remember who had a drink.
-
No cookies, no trackers
Cookies are like stickers some websites secretly stick on your back to follow you around. We have no stickers.
-
We keep our own fonts and pictures
Some websites borrow their pretty letters from a faraway shop that notes down who came to visit. We keep our own letters in our own backpack.
-
A guard at the door
Your browser acts like a guard that will not let our page talk to strangers, even if someone tried to trick it.
-
Works with the Wi-Fi off
If it still works when the internet is switched off, then nothing can be going out. Try it!
-
Fair, not rigged
We did extra math so no number is secretly favoured, like making sure every ping-pong ball weighs exactly the same.
For grown-ups
The technical details
What happens when you open a page
Your browser asks our host, Cloudflare, for a page. Like every website, the host necessarily sees your IP address, the page requested, your browser type and the time, the same information any web server receives. Cloudflare’s own handling of that data is described in its privacy policy. We do not add anything to that: there is no server code of ours that runs, and no database.
What happens when you press Generate
The code that makes the number is already in your browser. It reads random bytes from your
browser’s cryptographic generator (crypto.getRandomValues) and does the maths
locally. There is no request to any server. The “0 network requests” meter under each tool
measures this live with your browser’s own Performance API.
What we enforce, and how
- Content Security Policy. Every page ships a policy that allows scripts,
styles, images, fonts and connections only from
'self'(our own domain), withdefault-src 'none', framing blocked, and a same-origin referrer policy. Your browser enforces it, so even a bug could not send data elsewhere. - No third-party resources. Fonts, icons and illustrations are bundled and served by us. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts or a CDN.
- Code rules. Our linter fails the build if the code touches cookies,
localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, XMLHttpRequest, WebSocket,
fetchorMath.random(). - Offline cache. A service worker stores our own static files in your browser’s cache so the site works offline. It never stores or sees what you generate.
- Tests. Automated tests check the fairness of every generator, the lottery odds against published figures, and the exact UUID layouts.
What we cannot hide (and will not pretend)
- Like every website, when you open a page our hosting provider (Cloudflare) sees a normal visit: your IP address and the page you asked for, the same way a shop owner sees someone walk in. It cannot see the numbers you generate, because those are made on your device after the page has loaded.
- If we ever add visitor counting such as Google Analytics, we will ask you first, explain it here, and it will never see your numbers, lists or settings.
- Closing or refreshing the tab forgets everything. Copy results you want to keep.
If this ever changes
If we add visitor analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this page first, ask for your consent before loading anything that is not strictly needed, and keep generated numbers, lists and settings out of it. This page shows the date it was last reviewed so you can tell.
Last reviewed October 18, 2026. This page is a plain-language description of how the site works, not legal advice.
See it for yourself
Generate a number, then open your browser’s Network tab. Nothing is sent.
